My mom is a tailor, so growing up, she made clothes for me, and we often visited this particular market filled with shops selling cloth.
The market had rows upon rows of shops, probably four or five in total. Each shop would set up stalls in front to display even more fabric, and there were usually clothes they had customized for clients hanging above the stalls. I remember my mom having a black suit made for me at one of these shops because she knew the owner from when they both worked for a large clothing company.
Speaking of that clothing company, I have vague memories of being taken to the kindergarten inside the factory. It was more like a daycare where workers could bring their kids. I remember it being set up like a classroom, but the room was so dark. I think I was only there a couple of times because I don’t recall any specific people, except for one big kid who always sat at the back of the classroom on a table. I was told that this kid had mental problems. Looking out from that room, I could see the tall factory building with its big, old 90s-style windows framed in metal.
